On friday 06 November we had the pleasure of coordinating D&K wedding. The whole week it was raining cats and dogs. On friday the weather was perfect for a garden wedding. The weather just enhanced the beauty of the venue and our set up. Here is a couple of non Pro pics of the setup.

Tower of Grace Candle Light Dinner

On Friday 18th September 2009 we did this wonderful candle light dinner, with limit budget and time to set up.We turned an big warehouse type of space into an intimate dinner for 80 people.

Here is a look at the ladies that makes Ich Liebe the company it is.

Ich Liebe Consulting is headed by two very ambitious go getters, Ms P. Mbhele & Ms G Mapi which are both experts in their fields of creative event concepts and strategic planning respectively.  
They are a highly creative team and have a wide range of skills therefore they will be able to deliver inspired and innovative ideas. And find cost effective ways to stick to the clients budget.

Our service...

We have different types of planning and coordinator packages.

Month of Co-ordinating. This package is designed for the client that prefer to plan most of the event yet require a little more assistance and would like to enjoy the last month before the event by having a events coordinator take the burden of tying up any loose ends and last minute arrangements. 

Highlights of this package include a pre-planning meeting to discuss the details 4-6 weeks prior to the event date, contacting of vendors, creation of your event day timeline, coordination of of the day and much more.

Month of plus planning and coordinating. This package is designed for the client who began planning for their event on their own and quickly realized they need help with creative ideas and the professional support of a event planner. It does not matter where they are in the planning process, we will step in and pick up where they left off. We will give them that peace of mind they are looking for, so they can enjoy the rest of the planning process.

Full service planning. This service is for the client that want guidance from the beginning of the planning process through the event day. This is perfect for the client who do not have time to do the everyday chores... let alone plan an event!

Hosting of events. To take an active participation in South Africa’s diverse cultural background. We want to celebrate by hosting various events to celebrate our diversity. By hosting these events such as gala events, empowerment workshop,etc we can promote South African cultures as well as acertain a alternative financial stream of income by charging a minimal fee.

High school workshops. Gathering and presenting information to senior students to provide them with direction in life. Guiding them through the difficult choices if they cannot afford tertiary education. Equiping them with the different options that can guide them through life. Enabling them to see alternative work options versus unemployment after high school.

What's in a name????

Ich Liebe means "I Love" in the German language. (Pronunciation "ikh leeb-uh"). the company name is a marketing tool because of the play on words. e.g Ich Liebe Events (I love Events)or Ich Liebe Weddings (I love Weddings).

Rosemarie's 60th Birthday

On the 18 June 2009 we celebrated Rosemarie Thorne's 60th birthday. Yet another Port Elizabeth event that went down without a hitch. Our hard work and months of planning paid off.

Melinyaniso & Gaynor Mapi Wedding

On 13th December 2008 we hosted our first event. A wedding in Port Elizabeth. Though we are in Pretoria we showed that we could host intercity events without any mayor problem. Our first successful event.
